Sunday morning, a multi-agency security team conducted an intelligence-led operation on an al-Shabaab base in the Alango area of Garissa County. They seized materials for making Improvised Explosive Devices, as well as an AK47 rifle, magazines, and foodstuffs. Three individuals who were experts in assembling explosives managed to escape.
